Who may use the Scientific Library and how registration works.
- The Scientific Library is available to university students, master’s students, doctoral students, and faculty.
- Registration requires an identity document or student ID. The reader receives a library card.
2Borrowing and returns
The procedure for temporary use of Scientific Library materials.
- Books and teaching materials are issued for temporary use through the Scientific Library lending department.
- Items borrowed through the lending department must be returned to the Scientific Library by the established due date.
3Reading-room use
Materials that are not available through the lending department.
- Rare-collection editions, dissertations, reference works, and periodicals are not loaned and may be used only in the Scientific Library reading room.
4Reader responsibilities
Care for the collection and maintain order in the library.
- Readers must handle library materials carefully, avoid damaging them, refrain from writing in them, and not tear pages.
- Readers must maintain public order and quiet in the Scientific Library and comply with lawful staff instructions.
5Responsibility
Measures for overdue returns, lost or damaged materials, and violations of the Rules.
- If a return deadline is missed, responsibility measures are applied under these Rules.
- If borrowed materials are lost or rendered unusable, the reader must reimburse their value.
- Library service may be temporarily restricted or suspended for violations of these Rules.
